Just who are these guys on The Speed Scene show? They are informative, entertaining, sometimes nuts,
sometimes serious, but always up to date on the Drag Racing scene. How do they do it, how do they know
the best places to race, how do they know so much about the best events, why are they talking about the
things you want to know about? Because they are out there racing almost every weekend. The Speed Scene
is the show that makes the local sportsman racer the star! Bracket racing, heads up, or Import/Sport Compact racing,
the Speed Scene covers them all. All NHRA racing including Stock, Super Stock, Super Comp, Super Gas and Super Street.
Bracket racing where you dial your own ET. How about radical heads up racing including the Pacific Street Car Association,
The Speed Scene is there. Are you into nostalgic racing like the Goodguys association? Listen to the Speed Scene dive into
all of the classes, from Top Fuel and Nitro Funny cars to gasser classes and the popular Hot Rod Eliminator class. Want to
know what it's like right there in the staging lanes? Listen to the Speed Scene tell it like it is. No sugar coating here,
if the track hasn't been prepped and the traction is bad, then you will know. If the event is ran great, we will tell you.
Are you looking for a race to go to, whether to race or watch, but don't know where the best events are, then listen to the Speed Scene.
But who are the people on the Speed Scene? Bruce Barker is a radio veteran and an accomplished radio producer. Bruce is also a real car guy
with a collection of show cars. Mustangs, Ranchero's, Edsels and a retractable hardtop Ford make up his collection of vintage Fords. He knows
exactly what it takes to take a rolling pile of parts and slowly restore it part by part. He might be a technical wiz in the recording studio,
but he also knows how to get his hands dirty. He can be found at many of the local car shows with one of his vintage Fords.
